As a Senior Associate Data Owner within the Home Lending Servicing team at Chase, you will manage, govern, and ensure the quality of data within our division. Your role will involve ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, well-documented, secure, and meets the needs of all stakeholders. You will be in charge of overseeing all data created, provisioned, or consumed in Home Lending Servicing applications, thereby supporting business objectives, advanced analytics, operations, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with technology and business partners to define the data strategy and roadmap, while ensuring that data delivery aligns with quality and safety requirements.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational procedures for the delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, operations, advanced analytics, and reporting.
- Utilize subject matter expertise and key partnerships to identify and document critical data, ensuring it is well-defined, classified with metadata, and understood.
- Lead the publishing of data to the Data Lake and strategize towards that goal.
- Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle, including protection, retention, destruction, storage, use, and quality.
- Create operational procedures for data development and delivery to support business operations, strategic objectives, analytics, and reporting.
- Collaborate with key partners to define, document, and drive an understanding of data usage within the business, providing subject matter expertise on data content and application.
- Partner with technology and business resources to investigate root causes of data issues and recommend remediation; Develop relationships with data providers and consumers, including partners in Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Control functions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 6+ years of industry experience in a data-related field.
- 5+ years of experience within technology engineering, AWS, cloud modernization as it relates to data analytics.
- Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes including Product Management Leadership discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure our product and organization is on track to meet our goals.
- Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; Structured thinker with good business acumen.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master's degree preferred.
- Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture preferred.
- Experience with real-time data movement across Cloud.
- Innovation- Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud native technologies preferred.
