Home Lending - Channel Executive, Correspondent - Managing Director

As a Managing Director, Channel Executive/Head of Correspondent Originations, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance results for Correspondent Lending (Loan Acquisition) channel. Success in this role will require effective communication, collaboration, and transparency with peers, the Home Lending leadership team, and across the JPMorgan Chase organization.

This position reports to the Home Lending Head of Production and represents a significant leadership opportunity within the JPMorgan Chase organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This high-impact role entails leading the sales team directly and collaborating with Operations, Capital Markets, and other key stakeholders to deliver exceptional service to our clients and drive value across the firm.
  • The leader will identify and capitalize on strategic business opportunities, execute specific OKRs, and plan and develop capabilities, products, and programs to drive new mortgage originations for both new and existing clients.
  • This high-visibility, high-impact role will be instrumental in developing and executing the strategic roadmap for the Correspondent Originations business, both now and in the future.
  • The role carries end-to-end accountability for the Correspondent Originations channel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong business leadership skills with a sharp focus on executing strategies and delivering exceptional results.
  • Extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry, market environment, and regulatory landscape, and, importantly, demonstrating an expert understanding of key financial, risk management, and client experience drivers, especially when collaborating with third-party loan originators.
  • Experience in buy-side and/or sell-side transactions within the home loan secondary market, in addition to strong working knowledge of capital markets and the value components of loans and servicing
  • 15+ years of proven management and leadership experience, with expertise in strategy, project management, communications, sales, and overall business management
  • Extensive experience navigating Chase product and sales organizations with direct P&L oversight, and strong relationships in sales leadership across CCB and product/technology leadership
  • Strong client/customer focus with a track record of enhancing the client/customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain profitable businesses in competitive and regulated environments
  • Exceptional leadership skills to build high-performing teams and attract top talent
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills to build great teams, attract top talent and collaborate across a highly matrixed team.
  • Seasoned culture carrier and people leader with a proven track record of building high-performing, highly engaged, and diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required
