The Client Services function ensures J.P. Morgan Chase offers the highest standard of Client Services to all its clients.

As a Head of Client Services, Payments, Hong Kong - Vice President within J.P. Morgan Chase, you will be the Local point of contact for escalation, ensuring all client services related tasks are completed promptly with a high degree of quality and efficiency. Clients' needs and expectations are formally discussed and analyzed to maintain the agreed quality standards.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the Service team across Client segments including Corporate, Financial Institutions and Non Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI)
  • Review the Service Model on an ongoing basis and implement be-spoke solutions basis the evolving landscape of client needs
  • Manage a few clients in their individual capacity and deepen/develop client relationship
  • Review and work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set for the team and take corrective action where required
  • Manage team activities and identify ways to improve team efficiency along with understanding clients' business and help identify solutions, efficiencies, cross sell opportunities, product penetration
  • Participate in various meetings at local and regional level representing Client Services, and share key takeaway with the team
  • Drive local and regional initiatives by partnering with multiple teams / countries

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 12+ years of banking experience with 5 years of managerial responsibility
  • Good understanding of FX regulations, local clearing systems, and country cultural nuances
  • Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders; Sales, Operations, Compliance, Product and Technology, and engage regional team as and when needed
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, adaptability, flexibility and partnership
  • Ability to promote changes and motivate team on an ongoing basis and groom future leadership
  • Review existing controls and develop control mindset within the team
  • Able to communicate in fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • A thorough understanding of Payments Products, Solutions and Tools
  • Demonstrates the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and awareness, good team player with passion to drive initiatives and lead from front
