CIB Creative Services, part of the Event Marketing, Sponsorships & Tickets team, is an in-house design team headquartered in New York City with four additional global locations, seeking an energetic and creative Junior Graphic Designer excited to gain experience in a fast-paced B2B marketing organization. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse teams globally, delivering high-quality creative solutions that align with our brand standards. The position is based in Chicago.

The Analyst, Graphic Designer will work closely with marketing and business stakeholders and will play a key role in developing and executing creative programs that support our global operations, shaping the visual identity of our brand and enhancing our communication efforts.

You will be responsible for producing experiential event assets and event-related marketing materials, such as signage, booth materials, marketing sheets, program guides, digital screens and more. You will collaborate with Production, Strategy and Marketing teams to develop print and digital creative solutions for event-related marketing assets and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within Masterbrand requirements to design high-quality and innovative creative, including, but not limited to: event-related materials-such as invitations, signage and printed programs-advertising; brochures; sales aids; etc.
  • Present creative solutions that meet brand standards with the ability to provide the supporting rationale
  • Synthesize/Interpret design feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Be active in the creative process through concept, design, production and delivery
  • Articulate and present creative concepts clearly
  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and vendors
  • Assist in managing project schedules and vendor relationships
  • Motivate internal and external stakeholders and partners to ensure that the project maintains momentum
  • Promptly escalate potential challenges to the program's success
  • Champion and follow accessibility/ADA guidelines

Qualifications:

  • BFA in graphic design or similar discipline and 3+ years of professional design experience
  • Proficiency working on Mac and experience with working on PC operating platforms
  • Design sensibility and principles with strong design ability in layout, composition, typography and color usage
  • Print production skills, including preparing print-ready files
  • Ability to set up and work with style sheets in various programs
  • Strong organizational skills for project and file management
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive work ethic with the skill to take and share
    professional feedback
  • Strong portfolio that showcases technical design skills and the creative process
  • Strategic creative thinker
  • Detail-oriented and can review his/her own work carefully
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience working in a corporate industry and/or creative agency
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Demonstrated ability to create animated graphics in Adobe After Effects
