This is the lead position for a new organization for managing Co-Brand's refresh, launch and conversion activities across all Cobrand cards. Leader would develop and maintain a five-year roadmap for refresh, launch and conversions.

Job Summary:

As a Go to Market Area Product Owner, you will establish a playbook for go-to-market execution, lead project management to drive efficiency, and contribute subject matter expertise on the competitive landscape and broader industry trends.

Cobrand Card Product is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Product Owner to lead the end-to-end management of our card product portfolio, including new card launches, periodic refreshes and any conversion activity. You will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and a passion for delivering innovative and customer-centric card solutions.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for card products, aligning with the company's overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of new card product launches, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, fulfillment, compliance, and technology, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Working with partner teams, define and manage product requirements, specifications, and features for new card products.
  • Oversee the periodic refresh of existing card products to ensure they remain competitive and meet evolving customer needs.
  • Conduct regular product performance reviews and identify enhancements based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all card-related product initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, including partner teams, dependent product teams, technology, and operations.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring that card products deliver exceptional value and experiences to customers.
  • Conduct user research, surveys, and focus groups to gather insights and validate product concepts. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of card products.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory changes and mitigate potential risks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the financial services or payments industry.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to card products.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing card products.
  • Experience in managing partner/client engagements and expectations.
  • MBA or advanced degree
