The Global Security (GS) North America Physical Security team consists of a dynamic group of security professionals who are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our employees, clients, and assets in our retail and corporate environments in North America.

As the Global Head of Insider Risk Analysis within the Global Security team, you will manage the operational aspects of the Insider Risk Analysis function. Your primary responsibilities will include data analysis, threat scenario modeling, monitoring, and triage of insider risk events. You will also conduct detailed investigations of high-risk workforce members. Your role will be pivotal in identifying and mitigating insider threats through advanced analytical techniques and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data-driven methodologies to identify and assess insider threats, utilizing historical data and industry benchmarks.
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of threat scenario models to predict and mitigate potential insider risks.
  • Direct the monitoring of insider activities, ensuring timely detection and efficient triage and escalation of risk events.
  • Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking and analyzing insider risk events, aligned with the firm's risk management framework.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of high-risk workforce members, leveraging behavioral data and Insider Contextual Analyses (ICA) to assess and mitigate potential threats.
  • Identify and develop high-risk indicators and potential risk indicators (PRIs) to enhance threat detection and inform risk assessments.
  • Ensure control documentation aligns with the firm's risk management framework and collaborate with control owners to maintain effective controls.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, HR, IT, Compliance, and Global Workforce Screening, to implement coordinated insider risk mitigation processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Tech, Global Workforce Screening, and other teams to implement effective insider risk mitigation processes.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations for the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture through regular feedback and development.
  • Champion innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies, encouraging creativity to address insider risk challenges and staying abreast of industry trends.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 10+ years experience in risk management, security, or a related field, with a focus on insider risk analysis
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a global team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in insider risk management
  • Experience working in a large, complex organization, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Insider Threat training and certifications (e.g. CERT, CCITP, GCITP)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Behavioral Science/ Behavioral Analysis/Behavioral Threat Assessment experience or training
