Job Summary:
As an Associate in the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) Risk Scoring Utility (RSU) team, you will partner with us to assess financial crime risks associated with client relationships. You will help us ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal policies. Together, we will develop and enhance client risk scoring methodologies, analyze risk factors, and collaborate with stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of client risk scoring methodologies.
- Conduct reviews and assessments of risk scoring tools to ensure policy and regulatory alignment.
- Analyze client risk factors, including customer and product risks, to ensure accurate categorization.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Line of Business teams to manage high-risk relationships.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the risk scoring model and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and regulators.
- Assist in providing documentation and analysis for regulatory and internal audits.
- Stay informed about evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Escalate high-risk relationships as necessary.
- Ensure accurate risk assessments through effective collaboration.
- Contribute to a culture of compliance and risk management excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of experience in financial crime compliance or risk management.
- Understanding of AML, KYC, and sanctions regulations.
- Experience with risk scoring models and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with varied stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to present complex information clearly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to compliance and risk management.
