The Japan Subsidiary Banking team manages JPMorgan's relationships with subsidiaries of Japanese corporate clients across their cash management, trade, derivatives, and various financing needs.
Job responsibilities:
- Facilitate the origination efforts with senior bankers and product teams to identify, structure and deliver value-add solutions across product universe including DCM, Payments (Treasury Services/Cash Management), Trade Finance, Lending, FX & Rates, Commodities, Futures & Options and Asset Management.
- Cultivate and develop sustainable client relationship by proactively addressing Japanese corporate clients in Singapore's banking requirements, leveraging J.P. Morgan's global network and value propositions.
- Conduct high quality deal pitches leveraging well-thought account plans, tailor-made pitch books and detailed briefing memo.
- Assume full ownership in end-to-end deal execution with strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
- Support senior bankers in carrying out end-to-end deal process and the maintenance of existing business relationship, as well as the management of KYC on-boarding, renewal and remediation.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or other relevant fields
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Corporate Banking or related client facing functions/roles
- Japanese language skills to liaise with Japanese speaking clients based across APAC region.
- Solid knowledge of corporate banking products, including KYC, AML, credit underwriting, payments, trade finance, FX and commodities hedging.
- Strong financial analytical skills. Able to identify clients' potential banking requirements via effective quantitative and qualitative analysis including credit & risk analysis, detailed capital structure and business model analysis.
- Display consistent and high standard of personal integrity, partnership and team spirit.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasive skills. Strong influencing skills.
- Proven track record of managing cross cultural environments and fostering inter-department collaboration behavior.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Prior experience working with Japanese corporates is a plus
