You will work with a number of front office stakeholders and functional partners across the firm, leading a large volume of complex, fast-paced projects to meet the objectives of the Business Operations team and Global Corporate Bank in EMEA.

Job Summary:

The Business Operations team is dedicated to understanding, analyzing and developing recommendations related to the various operational, regulatory and reputational risks that exist within the Global Corporate Banking business in EMEA. Your projects will involve interacting heavily with banking teams, subject matter experts, functional control partners and senior leaders supporting the Global Corporate Banking business that cover large cap clients HQ'd in EMEA.

You will lead a large portfolio of fast paced, highly visible projects which have impact to the business. The results of these projects will be socialized with Global Corporate Banking executive management. Your deliverables will be non-routine, complex, unmapped and offer the ability to approach solutions in a creative manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end support to the Risk & Control framework for the EMEA Global Corporate Bank.
  • Support a growing Global Corporate Banking business in EMEA by identifying operational improvements and driving change management.
  • Involvement in strategy, risk assessments, and rolling out new business initiatives.
  • Be a subject matter expert for international regulatory requirements and provide expertise in audits, compliance tests & regulatory asks.
  • End-to-end project management of scoping a project, developing a project execution plan, troubleshooting/escalating issues, and ensuring timely project completion.
  • Perform root cause analysis on operational issues, recommend solutions, and ensure changes are implemented.
  • Identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/customers/ stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Ability to manipulate and query large data sets or willingness to learn
  • Experience in a banking, operations, or control management
  • Experienced in providing innovative and proactive solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint PitchPro+ and SharePoint
  • Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage
