An exciting opportunity to join the Global Corporate Bank Malaysia team with focus on serving Malaysian-headquartered companies. We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to really grow our footprint and ensure we continue to deliver a best-in-class service on behalf of our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products and to assist convert client analysis into concrete financial solutions
  • Support Senior Bankers with marketing Corporate Banking products (including: traditional credit product, FX, Derivatives, Payments, Debt Capital Markets and Commodities)
  • Support Senior Bankers in conducting industry research as well as update on regulation and macro economy
  • Co-ordinate internally with onboarding team and product partners to work on client Know Your Client (KYC) standards for renewals, remediation and onboarding of new clients.
  • Support Senior Bankers in client engagement and new transaction processes end-to-end, development of forward-looking new business plans for clients and the maintenance of existing business relationships
  • Co-ordinate internally across line of business and support Senior Bankers in delivering a best-in-class client services.
  • Manage internal due diligence requirements and administration tasks to accelerate sales process

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will posses or demonstrate the following personal and professional attributes:

  • Applicants must have minimum 3 year of experience in a similar Corporate Banking or Client Coverage role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Has a sound knowledge of corporate banking products including credit, cash management, debt capital markets as well as FX
  • Strong commercial judgment and business connections in identifying and developing business opportunities
  • Strong team player who can equally contribute individually
  • Excellent communication skill to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience as client relationship manager with proven ability to build and develop client relationships and winning business mandates would be an advantage
