As a Product Director in Payments Global Clearing, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk assessment (PSCM), and business growth targets
- Leads the entire product life cycle within an agile team through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
- Assess business requirements to determine whether they are clear, executable, and aligned or appropriate for the business
- Work with Product Management, Technology, and F&BM to plan for Global Clearing sponsored work and maintain a 6Q roadmap which includes partnering with technology to identify and coordinate with cross impacted platforms
- Manage demand for owned platforms and product area, this includes negotiating with stakeholders for owned platforms to gain agreement for support
- Coordinate with Operations, Architecture & Platform Technology Owners to identify technology groups required for a given solution.
- Provide expertise for Non-Clearing owned programs which have a cross impact to our domain; answer inquiries from Product Manager regarding feature functionality and methodology for current capabilities
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Expert understanding of global payments and ISO 20022 standards
- Exceptional abilities to create relationships with partners and stakeholders to influence cross-functional teams
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in conveying complex processes and why they are necessary
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to learn new products and processes, analyze for improvement, and carry out evidenced based actions to implement improvements
- Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience working with software development and web technologies
- Proactive and takes ownership of initiatives from the start and sees through to completion
