Global Clearing - Payments Product Manager - Senior Associate (all genders)

As a Senior Product Associate in Global Clearing, you will be an integral part of the team that manages the end-to-end delivery of J.P. Morgan's European (EUR) Clearing business.

You will contribute to the team by leveraging your product management expertise and passion for innovation and service excellence, to make a real impact.

With a strong awareness and commitment to scalability, resiliency and stability, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class products that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the execution of the EUR Clearing product strategy, ensuring alignment with the banks broader priorities and objectives.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the EUR Clearing business and covey this knowledge effectively to key stakeholders including Sales, Client Service, Operations and Technology.
  • Represents J.P. Morgan at industry events, both in person and online, actively engaging and influencing industry discussions
  • Uses your analytical and presentation skills to provide insights into financial performance and other key performance indicators
  • Analyses large data sets to identify trends and opportunities that can be used to drive new product development and commercialisation opportunities
  • Leads product development projects and commercialisation initiatives, ensuring compliance with appropriate business change frameworks

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience in Product Management or a relevant domain area.
  • Payments industry experience.
  • Proven communication and analytical skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to effectively prioritize competing tasks/deliverables.
  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiating solutions.
  • Execution-oriented self-starter who likes to take the initiative.
  • Commercially driven with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and understanding the client base.
  • Proven data analytical skills
  • German language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Understanding of one or more European payment systems (e.g. T2, EURO1, SEPA).
  • Knowledge of the transaction banking landscape, its key players (including Banks, PSPs, Fintech), and the regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of financial messaging (e.g., SWIFT MT and MX).
  • Transaction banking or cash management industry qualifications
