Join us as a Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Vice President who will partner with Line of Business and global/regional Compliance teams, as well as Internal Audit, Operational Risk and other Control functions. This position is a chance to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in financial crime compliance supporting a dynamic business with a focus on Fintech and correspondent banking sectors.
As a GFCC Payments Advisory - Vice President within our Compliance Team, you will work in partnership with the Payments and Commercial Banking business, leading implementation and execution of the JPMSE financial crime compliance program to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate client financial crime risks. You will provide Compliance coverage for the business areas and support other key areas such as new product analysis, regulatory change, monitoring and testing, resolving issues, regulatory reporting and internal governance/reporting.

Job responsibilities
- Provide financial crimes compliance advisory for Payments and Commercial Banking business within the Commercial Investment Bank derived from external applicable regulatory requirement, industry best practices, as well as internal framework for Germany and JPMSE country branches.
- Engage in client discussions and undertake assessments of financial crime risks associated with clients and prospects (particularly Fintech and Correspondent banks). Review escalation of significant financial crime related client matters and provide recommendations for appropriate risk mitigation.
- Support the review and ensure approval requirements are met as set out under the AML Risk Assessment or 'New Business Initiative Approval' (NBIA) relevant to financial crime matters arising from new or expanded business impacting the location and represent GFCC at related governance forums
- Represent the JPMSE GFCC Advisory team at respective internal committees/forums
- Support and assist with MLRO in responding to regulatory, internal and external audit inquiries, as well as performance of required testing and monitoring activities according to the annual control plan
- Support the review of regulatory changes and the preparation of appropriate impact assessments
- Provide GFCC advice on regional funds transfer compliance (EU FTR) for JPMSE and its branches and conduct EU FTR related monitoring and testing tasks
- Support and advise with regard to financial crimes matters/topics in the preparation and implementation of policies and procedures
- Support MLRO with regard to the compilation of reports and presentations for senior management or GFCC governance meetings
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Financial crime experience including understanding of Payments business particularly as relates to Fintech and correspondent banking clients
- Knowledge of European financial crime compliance regulatory requirements and industry best practice
- Strong organisation skills to ensure the legal entity GFCC program achieves key deliverables
- An ability to communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written) including to senior management
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables
- A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, taking ownership of challenging deliverables and executing to an excellent standard
- Ability to work both independently and as a core team member
