FX Services is part of Currencies & Emerging Markets and provides spot and forward FX pricing and processing capabilities to internal JPMorgan business lines across; Securities Services, Wholesale Payments, Commercial Bank and Consumer & Business Banking. In collaboration with JPMorgan Security Services, FX Services manages a Currency Overlay program which is offered to Asset Managers and Asset Owners who are looking for solutions to mitigate the currency risks associated with both their global investments, as well as the domicile of their investors.

Job Summary:

As an Analyst within FX Services, Currency Overlay Product team, you will be part of the Front Office Order Management and Product team within FX Services, working closely with Technology, Sales, Trading, Operations and partners across Markets and Securities Services to develop and deliver market leading Currency Overlay product capabilities. This is an exciting role for a creative individual with a strong problem solving background and desire to apply their skills in a stimulating and dynamic environment. Based in London, the role will be part of the FX Services Order Management Team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Managing the Day-to-day order flow of the Overlay and Custodian Agnostic FX business', managing and mitigating risk on behalf of JPM and our clients, ensuring trade execution is correct.
  • Facing off to existing and prospective clients as a Product SME, designing and implementing hedging solutions
  • Partnering with broad range of stakeholders across the end to end FX flow to extract product needs and opportunities for enhancement, and the innovative insight to translate those needs into scalable product solutions and opportunities
  • Working with in house technology team in Agile methodology to deliver those new products through strategic system builds
  • Shaping the future direction of our technology by suggesting and developing novel applications and new platform features
  • Facilitating the prioritization across impacted groups on the build out of new product features.
  • Ensuring that for all products and solutions the risks are understood and documented, and robust end-to-end controls are in place
  • Reviewing operational procedures, data flow and system dependencies of the existing business processes in an effort to identify risk, gaps and improvement areas

  • You are highly motivated with a practical approach to problem solving
  • You have ability to collaborate effectively and communicate complex topics with a diverse range of audiences
  • You demonstrate experience of re-engineering and automating complex processes through close partnership with end users and a Technology delivery team
  • The ability to lead new product build outs and enhancements from start to finish, while partnering across various teams to create and execute project plans.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • You demonstrate Alteryx experience

This role has a shift pattern, working non-core hours. Shifts cover hours between 7am to 9.30pm

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
