As a Fund Servicing Associate II within the Securities Services Operations, you are responsible in maintaining the shareholder register for investment funds by executing shareholder instructions. JPMorgan Transfer Agency operations are performed in Luxembourg, Dublin, Manila, Bangalore and Hong Kong.

Every function that is performed in TA impacts this register; whether it is booking a transaction (i.e. Dealing), changing an address (i.e. Registration and Account Maintenance), or settling a deal (i.e. Cash Processing). JPMorgan's Transfer Agency shareholder register is held and maintained in a core TA system. It is the Transfer Agent's responsibility to ensure that the register is accurate at all times as well as providing investment documentation such as contract notes and periodic statements (i.e. Pricing & Investor Reporting).

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing (account opening, account maintenance, deals/trades processing, pricing, cash processing/settlement, reporting and reconciliations),accurate trade processing, review and reporting in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Transfer Agency Group
  • Carry out Anti-Money laundering (AML) checks whilst displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the established practices, processes and procedures of JPMorgan including in-depth industry awareness.
  • Co-ordinate with the Oversight Team in conjunction with clients and internal stakeholders the quarter and year end process timetable and ensure all items are completed accurately by the deliverable date
  • Provide support to the Oversight Team through investigation and analysis and provision of relevant data, to resolve client queries as required
  • Facilitate the completion of regular and ad-hoc client, investor and regulatory reporting requirements in a timely, accurate and professional manner, for submission to the Oversight Team.
  • Accurately record money movement and reconciliation of the same in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Transfer Agency Group.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures as required and lead and/or participate in internal and external projects

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years relevant Financial Institution (FI) experience is required. Transfer Agent experience is preferred.
  • More than 5 years people management experience
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Transfer Agent administration systems
  • Solid Interpersonal skills - ability to interact effectively both with individuals & teams, a team player.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to different styles at all levels
  • Initiating action and escalating potential risks to minimize loss.
  • Efficient planning and time management skills, to meet strict deadlines and team objectives, with an ability to prioritize key tasks whilst working under pressure.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • High proficiency in MS Office
  • Proven ability to enhance and streamline processes, demonstrating a pro-active approach to change.
  • Analytical and logical skills, sound problem solving ability.
