As a Fund Servicing Associate within the Securities Services Operations, you will partner with other lines of business and offshore partners providing oversight and support of daily production, with an overall focus on accurate and timely delivery of daily Net Asset Values. You will work closely with global business partners and must be diligent, inquisitive and logistical when approaching daily oversight of the Net Asset Value production workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accurate and timely production of the Fund's daily and monthly accounting activities and net asset value calculation of the funds for various clients
  • Ensure global business partners meet agreed upon processing deadlines and partner with Client Service to resolve client inquiries as needed
  • Follow all established procedures and controls towards goal of 100% accuracy and timeliness. Identify operational efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of your client and the overall daily NAV production workflow
  • Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines which comply with internal and external controls to continuously strengthen the controls environment
  • Develop and implement efficient and standardized workflows within team as well as various points of hand offs
  • Be an effective leader capable of motivating, developing, supporting, training, and managing the team. Understand training needs / solutions and implement them to maintain team skill sets and mobility

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of Mutual Funds, Fund Accounting, GAAP accounting, and Account Reconciliation
  • Knowledge of the Securities industry, including dividends, principal and interest, corporate actions and trading activity
  • Minimum 3years People Management experience
  • Minimum 5years Accounting/Finance experience
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, multi-tasking, and negotiation skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Chartered Accountant/ MBA/ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
