Join our team as a Fund Servicing Analyst in Financial Reporting Tax, where you will assist clients in meeting their regulatory reporting obligations related to Accounting and Tax. You will prepare reconciled trial balances and financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards, calculate taxable income for distributions, and prepare annual tax returns and other regulatory filings.
As a Fund Servicing Analyst in Financial Reporting Tax, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports and tax documents for clients' portfolios. You will ensure that all deliverables meet strict deadlines and are reviewed by clients' auditors or tax agents.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of all team processes and support preparers in creating audit packs, tax returns, and financial statements.
- Review and check deliverables prepared by team members, ensuring timely sign-off to meet client and auditor needs.
- Prepare deliverables during capacity constraints within the team.
- Coordinate and communicate with Sydney Financial Reporting and Tax teams to resolve issues.
- Respond to Sydney Financial Reporting and Tax queries accurately and promptly.
- Lead regular knowledge-sharing and learning activities to achieve zero-error deliverables.
- Serve as the client point of contact, documenting and applying client nuances in deliverables.
- Lead projects related to process enhancements and productivity improvements.
- Conduct training for new joiners on team processes as needed and regularly review and update SOPs with Sydney's recertification.
- Complete and pass all mandatory and product-related training within deadlines, ensuring team compliance with training and administrative tasks.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with team members and lead a committee within the team.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- CA/CPA or Accounting Graduate with minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, tax, or audit, with experience in fund management.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, such as IFRS.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors and strong decision-making skills.
- Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experienced in machine learning
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- In-depth working knowledge of statistical tools and visual platforms, such as SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Hive, R
- Experienced in creating Data Models related but not limited to - customer experience, headcount and performance.
