As a Business Development & Content Specialist with FROSCH, you will help support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, proposal content, and messaging for our global brand. In this role, you will be responsible for various activities that support the Corporate Travel Sales Team with client acquisition and retention initiatives. You will need effective written and oral communication skills, a proactive and adaptive work style, and proven ability to work both independently, as well as a member of a small, high performance-output team, in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. It is also preferred that you have experience in proposal writing, a general understanding of sales and marketing, and knowledge of the travel and hospitality or related industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development Managers with the management of the RFP process from start to finish - information gathering, establishing project timelines, and ensuring professional and high-quality responses are submitted on time and to the highest professional standard.
  • Develop compelling, on-brand, responsive proposals that effectively convey win themes to clients and prospects.
  • Produce quality responses to prospects by following proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone.
  • Ensure all content in bids, proposals, and presentations are on-brand, current, consistent, and specifically address all customer needs.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments and with subject matter experts to gather the appropriate configuration, pricing, and content.
  • Work on multiple solicitations simultaneously at different stages in the proposal process, while effectively managing and adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Teams to support companywide marketing and communication initiatives, and develop collateral, PowerPoint presentations, proposals, and other ad hoc marketing materials to support business development opportunities.
  • Maintain and support management of the Sales Team CRM (Monday.com) - for sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and commercial sales operations visibility.
  • Support contracting for new and existing accounts, working in partnership with our internal Legal partners and set approval channels.
  • Support planning and/or execution of industry events - aligning with internal Business Development and Marketing Teams.
  • Limited travel may be required (less than 10%) to attend and assist in preparing for industry events, meetings, and conferences (internal and external).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, Business, Travel Management, Hospitality, or related field OR equivalent work experience
  • At least one (1) year of experience developing large and complex proposals OR 1+ years of professional, technical, or marketing writing and sales
  • CRM Experience (Monday.com, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Excellent writing, editing, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills; with strong, clear, grammar
  • Ability to work both independently and function effectively as a member of a team and ability to collaborate with traveling and/or remote team members, often across time zones
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability and comfort level working effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service focused attitude
  • Innovative in solving problems and finding information
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TEAMS, and Outlook, with the ability to use built-in styles and develop clean, well-formatted

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong preference for experience to be in a travel management services environment or related industry field
  • Contract Management and Negotiation experience a plus
  • Experience with Event Management / Planning
