As an Associate in Fraud Risk Analytics and Data Reporting within the Fraud Risk Analytics & Intelligent Reporting (AIR) team, you will be tasked with the creation, automation, and implementation of smart solutions that cater to the reporting and analytical requirements within Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Risk. Your role will involve ensuring compliance and control requirements are met to provide timely and reliable information to the appropriate audience. You will need a robust analytical skillset, capable of developing and conveying significant insights to influence strategic initiatives to senior leaders. You will utilize innovative analytical problem-solving skills while efficiently managing large data sets from a wide variety of source

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform strong programming skills coupled with excellent written and oral communication. You will also leverage an acquired understanding of the data repositories, tools, policies and controls required in the risk reporting and analytics space.
  • Demonstrate ability to design, execute and interpret statistical analyses to promote insights and strategy.
  • Use SQL query enterprise databases to obtain relevant data for analysis.
  • Work with Product Risk managers and other stakeholders to support new strategy and product development and monitoring - Write summary documentation of analyses performed for both technical and non-technical audiences within the firm.
  • Present results to peers and higher levels of management.
  • Share advanced machine learning and execution knowledge with team members as new techniques are discovered to solve analytical problems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline with minimum 3 years of work experience in analytics/Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative disciple (e.g. Data Analysis, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems) with minimum 5 years of work experience in analytics / analytical reporting
  • Working knowledge and development experience with SQL, SAS and related tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract business insights from complex data structures
  • Alteryx, Tableau, SAS certification. (basic/advanced)
  • Experience coding in a flexible analytics language (e.g. Python, R).
  • Proven ability to work with large-scale/complex issues and collaborate across organizations.
  • Experience in Banking / Digital Banking.
  • Excellent analytical storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibly adapt to change.
