The Firmwide Resiliency Office ("FRO") within the Office of the CFO is responsible for the design of the firm's Resiliency Program, including the requirements for Resiliency Planning, Testing, Exercising, Reporting and Concern Management. FRO collaborates closely with the firm's senior leadership, Line of Business and Functional/Technology Resiliency teams as well as key control partners and stakeholders to ensure that the resiliency program is commensurate with the risk-taking activities of the firm. The team is also responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. Within the FRO, the Resiliency Lifecycle and Enablement team is responsible for the guidance and delivery of all phases of the Business Resiliency Lifecycle.

As a Firmwide Resiliency Operating Framework Vice President in the Resiliency Lifecycle and Enablement Team, you will provide support for continuous improvement of the Operating Framework and connectivity with asset domains, with initial responsibility for evolving the guidance, deployment, and monitoring the strategic framework related to Firmwide Support Services (FSS). The FSS population includes specifically designated Essential Services that are crucial to the effective resiliency of significant infrastructure that support the entire firm.

This role will focus across infrastructure groups on expressing service delivery risk to the institution, establish clear identification of dependency mapping and connections, and provide guidance and support to mapping of supporting assets. The Operating Framework for these FSS will improve the clear articulation of recovery objectives and strong methodology for embedding the dependency relationships in Line-of-Business and Corporate Functions resiliency plans.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and collaboration in driving continuous improvement in delivery of the overall Firmwide Resiliency Operating Framework and connectivity with asset domains
  • Drive the development and implementation of the Operating Framework, tooling, and guidance to support effective planning and testing of FSS
  • Establish measurements for success incorporated into reporting and escalation
  • Build good working relationship with the stakeholders involved in establishing and implementing effective Operating Framework guidance
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other key resiliency teams across the firm
  • Cooperate with other areas of the firm responsible for informing the resiliency lifecycle and/or related activities (e.g. Technology, Third-Party)
  • Work across the firm to resolve issues and mitigate risks or elevate as appropriate across the critical workstreams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Process design and implementation experience, with demonstrated experience establishing, meeting goals and delivering results
  • Ability to navigate through planning structures to see underlying infrastructure, working with other key areas
  • Significant experience in financial services in a related role; technology, architecture, risk management, resiliency, program management, controls
  • Expertise in application / data / infrastructure architecture disciplines and design / business processes
  • Knowledge of the technology infrastructure & application stacks required to operate business applications
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and willing to take personal responsibility / accountability
  • Strong skills in communication, presentation and ability to moderate large meetings
  • Excellent analytical skills including an ability to anticipate and highlight potential risks and understanding of the resiliency threat landscape
  • Ability to engage, build relationships with and influence business stakeholders, including the ability to deliver with indirect authority
  • Understand Controls and how they apply within a process
  • Ability to think strategically and execute strategy with credibility
