As a Financial Analysis - Associate within our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of our firm. Job Responsibilities
- Manage annual and ongoing financial planning activities for product areas
- Provide business rationale for month-end financial performance and forecasting
- Conduct reviews and analysis on product financial performance and trends
- Develop efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy
- Create financial business cases to support business initiatives
- Report on and monitor key metrics, driving data quality initiatives
- Develop and track performance metrics, creating presentations for senior management
- Perform variance analysis and present commentary to senior managers
- Design new reports and dashboards to deliver financial results efficiently
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical subject
- Three years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services or accounting/controller roles
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in data mining and manipulation of data sets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
- Proven track record for executing special projects with minimal lead time
- Highly motivated and able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to be a trusted partner for Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets.
