As a Financial Analysis professional in our Asset & Wealth Management, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Global Shares is part of the Workplace group which is a newly created group responsible for developing wealth solutions for a broad range of corporate clients, bringing together our full suite of financial services to them and their employees, including share-plan administration. Workplace Wealth Solutions provides a powerful client acquisition opportunity, allowing us to broaden and deepen our client relationships across the J.P. Morgan platform.

Your role will be responsible for the reporting, client analytics and profitability of the Global Shares business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Feasibility analysis on new incoming clients, with the role playing a key part in formalizing a defined appraisal/approval process around potential new clients.
  • High degree of comfort in working with large volumes of data. Build financial models & scenario analysis from scratch
  • Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly and adhoc reporting of the results and drivers for senior management. Calculation and consolidation of the month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years
  • Execute analytical ad-hoc requests and support various stakeholders
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible
  • Work on projects to drive global consistency and create synergies across the team. Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and provide commentary explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required with 1-2 years of work experience, in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
  • Very strong excel & PowerPoint skills are required; Experience working in commercially focused roles
  • Excellent Analytical Skills, strong decision making capabilities and good attention to detail
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive attitude
  • Process driven mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Experience with identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, implementing solutions and communicating to stakeholders across different departments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, and/or Python, SQL is preferred
  • Experience in ERP softwares like MS Dynamics 365 would be a plus
  • Experience of working closely with sales teams is preferred
