Finance Product Controller - Associate - Payments Fee Revenue

The Payments Fee Revenue Controller position is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to gain broad exposure to numerous teams and products across the firm.

As a Payments Fee Revenue Controller in the Payments & Commerce Solutions (P&CS) Controller team, you will perform product and legal entity controller functions, collaborate with functional groups across CIB Finance and Business Management, and contribute to key business transformation initiatives. This role offers a unique chance to develop strong working relationships and enhance your technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes including entries to the various ledger and financial systems of the Bank.
  • Prepare various balance sheet and income statement analysis and commentaries.
  • Oversee and prepare manual invoices for select high profile clients.
  • Drive coordination across various front & back-office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work as part of a cross functional team to implement multiple key business transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain robust controls in all responsibilities.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of control and reporting issues.
  • Serve as an analytical and project support resource for firmwide initiatives impacting P&CS controllers.
  • Handle various ad-hoc business requests on a daily basis.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+years of experience in an accounting or finance related business position
  • Experience performing P&L and month end close accounting functions.
  • Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications (SAP), Business Objects, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail including a strong control focus.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop strong working partnerships.
  • Proven ability to be able to successfully work on multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with Alteryx, Essbase is a plus.
  • Experience with typical Cash Management products & services
