We are seeking an Experience Designer to join the Spectrum Core Platform Experience Design team. Our mission is to deliver best-in-class products that enable our business users and their teams to effectively and efficiently manage trillions in assets for our clients. In collaboration with our partners in product management and engineering, we continuously innovate and evolve the platform that empowers JP Morgan Asset Management to maintain its position as an industry leader. As part of the Core Platform team, you will help drive the development of the next generation of tools as we define the future of asset management.

As an Experience Design Vice President in the Spectrum Core Platform Experience Design team you will become a part of a collaborative group with a shared goal: to empower users through insightful, well-crafted user experiences. You'll use a strong range of skills, including user research, information architecture, visual design, and prototyping, to create products that are easy to learn, easy to use, and tailored to the needs of sophisticated financial service professionals. You will also contribute to design standards and best practices across the platform, supported by a highly skilled and friendly design colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire user-centered design process, including research, design, and iterative enhancement.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including product managers and engineering leads, across multiple business lines, geographies, and time zones. Deliver design solutions grounded in validated user needs.
  • Clarify user journeys, create high-fidelity mockups, and build rapid prototypes.
  • Work alongside UI developers to ensure feasibility and support the implementation of designs.
  • Understand, use, and contribute to our design system and standard interaction patterns.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Significant experience as an Experience Designer in a product or agency environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, HCI, related fields, or equivalent practical work experience in design.
  • Experience working with agile and lean development teams.
  • Case studies that detail your Experience Design process and problem-solving abilities across the full spectrum of research and design activities.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience designing for enterprise applications or other complex, data-rich products is preferred.
  • Experience designing for financial services is strongly preferred.
