As an Experience Design Associate in Connected Commerce Travel you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, structuring, and detailing our offerings within the context of a broader user journey. Leveraging your developing knowledge of design and research practices collaborate with senior UX leads to execute tasks and projects that align with established policies and procedures. Your work will have a direct impact on mid-sized features or small collections of features within a discipline, ensuring a seamless and inclusive user experience. Contribute to the team's decision-making process and help drive customer-centric innovation strategies. At the Associate level, demonstrate your proficiency in core experience design craft skills, while continuously developing your expertise in these and other design-focused areas.

Chase Travel is transforming the customer experience, helping our customers elevate every trip.This role works on the Travel Servicing experience, re-imagining how Chase Travel Advisors support customers across their journeys. We are a small highly collaborative team that values curiosity, craft, and continuous learning. This role focuses designing desktop based enterprise software.

Job responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of user experiences for mid-sized features or small collections of features and ensure alignment with user needs and business goals
  • Apply interaction design principles to create seamless and engaging user flows and interactions across multiple platforms, such as web, mobile, and branch
  • Participate in iterative design processes, incorporate user feedback and insights to improve the overall user experience
  • Support the implementation of inclusive design practices taking into consideration diverse backgrounds and abilities to create accessible and user-friendly experiences
  • Help to gather information on market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in experience design or a related UX discipline within the digital product space
  • Previous experience in visual design and interaction principles, with a focus on creating aesthetically appealing and functional digital experiences
  • Demonstrated proficiency in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping to effectively communicate and refine design concepts
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, inclusive design practices, and assistive technologies to ensure a diverse and inclusive user experience
  • Previous exposure to industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Fluent in using Figma to create rich interactive prototypes that bring user centered storytelling to life.
  • Strong interaction design skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Thrive in fast paced collaborative environment with US and Asia based teams continuously sharing work.
  • Good verbal communication and presentation skills to make data-informed design recommendations.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about travel data systems, and creating workshops to bring cross-functional teams to consensus.
