As an Experience Design Associate within the Consumer and Community Banking Risk Technology team, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, structuring, and detailing our offerings within the broader user journey. Collaborate with senior User Experience leads to execute tasks and projects that align with established policies and procedures. Your work will directly impact mid-sized features or small collections of features, ensuring a seamless and inclusive user experience. Contribute to the team's decision-making process and help drive customer-centric innovation strategies. At the Associate level, demonstrate proficiency in core experience design skills while continuously developing your expertise.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of user experiences for mid-sized features, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
  • Apply interaction design principles to create seamless and engaging user flows across web, mobile, and branch platforms.
  • Participate in iterative design processes, incorporating user feedback to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Support the implementation of inclusive design practices, considering diverse backgrounds and abilities to create accessible experiences.
  • Gather information on market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to strategic thinking.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in experience design or a related User Experience discipline within the digital product space.
  • Experience in visual design and interaction principles, focusing on creating aesthetically appealing and functional digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping to effectively communicate and refine design concepts.
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, inclusive design practices, and assistive technologies to ensure a diverse and inclusive user experience.
  • Exposure to industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong portfolio showcasing User Experience design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and user research findings.
  • Ability to identify user problems and design intuitive solutions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
