As an Executive Director, Product Architecture in Payments & Banking Digital & Design, you will guide products that belong to many functional areas by working closely with these cross-functional teams (technology, product, UI/UX & business) to define product requirements once (make sure product debt is kept at a minimum), coordinate resources from groups (design, technology, legal, business users, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones. The primary goal of this role is ensuring the digital products can deliver a progressive experience, the digital experience is modern and engaging for our clients and the cost to deliver each feature is optimal.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors, the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or related role
  • 7+ years of experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • A rich blend of product and technical background

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • Understanding & experience of the Payments and Banking landscape
