Executive Director of Consumer Sales Development & Transformation

As an Executive Director of Consumer Sales Development & Transformation in Home Lending, you will lead the hiring strategy, onboarding, training and ongoing program development of new sales leaders. You will work with Sales Leadership, Recruiting, Learning and other key stakeholders to manage and develop a Home Lending Originator Development program, which will include testing, implementing, and scaling new sales support roles, and developing a holistic end-to-end strategy that reduces attrition, enhances training and readiness, introduces mentoring, builds culture, supports diverse hiring perspectives, and improves employee satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Transformation (Consumer Sales Model, Pilots, Governance)
  • Manage Consumer Sales strategic roadmap, prioritization and communication plans to effectively test and deliver desired future state Sales behaviors
  • Facilitate discussions with senior leaders to gain buy-in on strategy and roadmap, provide clarity on tactics and desired outcomes, and share updates on progress
  • Act as a strategic function that influences outcomes across all Sales Strategy workstreams ensuring client-focused, scalable and feasible outcomes
  • Bring forth technology needs and solutions that can drive new and desired experiences within the future model
  • Ensure any new strategies are in line with desired sales model efforts and roadmaps
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Recruiting and Learning partners to develop behavioral expectations and corresponding sales training for future-state Home Lending Advisors
  • Define and measure expected sales behaviors and skills to ensure best-in-class sales effectiveness
  • Create and manage rigorous HLA training and readiness programs, including robust mentoring capabilities for new and potentially existing hires
  • Develop sustainable and scalable hiring strategies and processes (candidate profiles, location strategy, recruiting tactics) and manage an ongoing pipeline of future HLAs
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Sales Support to ensure thoughtful and intentional change management for our sales teams
  • Define program objectives, identify target candidate pools, and create a robust recruiting plan and approach
  • Develop training program curriculum including desired mix of classroom and front-line experiences
  • Establish formal mentorship program
  • Sales Development (Onboarding, Development, Pipelining)
  • Management of all aspects of the HLOD program, including day-to-day operations

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of stakeholders and managers
  • Proven ability leading business strategy, sales training and execution
  • Must have strong business knowledge overall, a well as detailed knowledge of Sales Development/Transformation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities
  • Responsible for developing business objectives and priorities aligned to the overall business
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent judgment and independent decision-making ability
  • Strong skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint and/or Pitch Pro

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • At least nine years of relevant business experience (or MBA/PhD and five years relevant business experience)
  • Strategy/consulting background
  • Experience in Home Lending
