As an Executive Director, High Net Worth Card Marketing, Communications and Acquisition within our Consumer & Community Banking division, you will be a dynamic leader focusing on promoting growth and delivering on our product vision for our High Net Worth customer segment and the J.P. Morgan Reserve card portfolio. You will oversee our card product marketing, communications, and client acquisition/distribution strategies, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders. This role provides an opportunity to influence and shape strategies for a significant client segment, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of our product and service development.

Job Description

We are looking for dynamic leader to join the High Net Worth (HNW) Card Product team, focusing on driving growth and delivering on our product vision for our HNW customer segment and the J.P. Morgan Reserve card portfolio. This role will be responsible for overseeing our card product marketing, communications, and client acquisition/distribution strategies, working in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, including Brand, Travel, and Wealth Management teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-channel customer marketing & communications strategies, informed by customer research, competitive insights, and analytics in partnership with Brand, Wealth Management, Travel, and Marketing stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications partners and Card acquisition & customer marketing centers of excellence on portfolio campaign planning, deployment, and effectiveness
  • Assess current distributions strategies & acquisition channels and how to optimize them further
  • Oversee creative development and execution across direct (e.g. email, digital) and sales-assisted (e.g. client management) channels in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain regulatory, legal and controls requirements and ensure necessary disclosures remain up to date and in compliance
  • Manage external agencies, as needed (inclusive of budget and contract management)
  • Establish a framework and analysis around card marketing & acquisition performance for the HNW client segment
  • Serve as a client advocate and thought leader for the HNW client segment, leading and influencing cross-functional teams to consider HNW client needs in development of relevant strategies & customer touchpoints, including direct to customer communications and events and experiences
  • Communicate consistently and effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership in executive forums to articulate the strategic vision, growth roadmap and learnings, results & performance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 10+ years of proven product marketing, acquisition, and leadership experience; with a particular focus in credit cards, financial services, and/or HNW-oriented products
  • Strong understanding of the HNW client profile and relevant client journeys in order to define relevant marketing, communications, and acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain profitable businesses in a highly competitive environment through marketing and growth strategies
  • Exceptional leadership acumen to build great teams and attract top talent
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and innovation, while ensuring focus on detail and execution
  • Experience bringing to life new and innovative ways to approach marketing creative, broader channel strategy, and working models, with channel experience across email, digital, and sales/client management-assisted
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelors degree required
