Event Marketing Processes & People Analyst

The Event Marketing, Sponsorship & Creative Services team partners with the key senior stakeholders to provide end-to-end strategy and execution of franchise client events and sponsorships across all lines of business within the Commercial & Investment Bank. The Operations team is rooted in the core principles of support - people, process and technology - and manages global projects and initiatives to provide consistency and increase efficiency and effectiveness for planners and event marketers.

As an Event Marketing Processes & People Analyst you will join the newly formed Operations team supporting Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Event Marketing, Sponsorships and Creative Services. You will possess a strong understanding of people, processes, and procedures, and the ability to coordinate communication across various lobs and ensure learning opportunities are accessible to members at all levels. In addition, you will work with a matrixed group of controls, legal, and compliance partners to ensure the team is aware of current company policy along with task of disseminating any changes to policies in an easily understandable format.

Job responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the organization of People agenda and DE&I initiatives executed by the teams
  • Organize All Hands / Townhall meetings to proactively manage timely and proper communications within the team on initiatives and key deliverables
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within the team, and with key stakeholders, including other business management teams, line of business controllers, legal, compliance, and Program Management teams
  • Prepare executive presentations and provide internal coordination on cross team deliverables including ad-hoc project management support
  • Track progress against priorities, including midyear and end of year accomplishments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in a business management, project management, or operations role
  • BA degree or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, resourceful and motivated
  • Strong sense of time management, prioritization and ability to execute against timelines
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and to problem solve/think independently
  • Willingness to be a team player and work well within a matrixed organization: peers, partners, management, relationship managers and clients
  • Ability to deliver timely, high quality presentations and reporting for various projects and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups
  • Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in a financial services organization
  • Expert in Microsoft suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint
  • Understanding of firm-wide systems or ability to quickly learn systems
