Market Operations team are on the lookout for new talent! Equity Operation contributes to global equity business, who provides equity products in multiple formats (cash equity, equity derivative, investment fund, stock lending, prime financing etc) to investors globally.

As an Equity Operations Associate in the Market Operations team, you will be a key player in establishing a seamless operational process to provide first-class business in a first-class way. You will be exposed to front to end post trade functions engaging multiple internal & external stakeholders. This role will allow you to demonstrate your leadership, communication skills, and analytical skills, which will be beneficial in promoting an uplifting operating model to facilitate continuous business expansion and aim for a stronger control environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all risk is captured accurately and completely on Trade Capture & Post Trade Controls
  • Handle settlement with clients / exchanges
  • Ensure to deliver timely for confirmations / statements, client's requests and queries as well as client onboarding coordination
  • Generate Regulatory Report and handle associated controls
  • Handle project management - handled by business initiatives, market changes, strategic system transformation
  • Work on process optimization - automation with digital solution

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Well motivated and have strong accountability
  • Strong verbal and written bilingual (Japanese and English) communication
  • Ability to influence others to deliver the result
  • Ability to develop strong partnership with internal / external stakeholders
  • Change management mindset and track record to deliver positive change in the end-to-end
  • Project management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in investment banking operations role is preferable
  • Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word) essential, Digital Tools (RPA/Alteryx) preferred
