The Equity Compensation Plan Strategy & Design team is responsible for strategy, design and governance of the firm's equity plan s including the Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and Deferred Compensation Plan. As an Equity Comp Specialist within our compensation team, you will play a pivotal role in the development of strategy, integration of products, and communication efforts to ensure our plans remain competitive and effective. Your collaboration with teams such as Exec Comp Plan Admin, Workforce Technology, Quality Assurance, HR Accounting, Payroll, and Risk & Controls will promote strategic initiatives and ensure seamless integration of product enhancements. You will be responsible for managing data accuracy, conducting market research, and preparing insightful reports that inform decision-making. Your crucial role in maintaining competitive and compliant equity compensation plans will directly impact employee satisfaction and the firm's ability to attract and retain top talent. By supporting clear communication and governance, you will help align compensation strategies with the firm's overall objectives.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior team members to identify key strategic objectives for equity compensation plans.
- Assist in drafting strategic proposals and presentations for RSUs, ESPP, and voluntary deferred compensation plans.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic adjustments and enhancements while supporting the development of implementation timelines and action plans for new strategies.
- Coordinate with IT and product teams to schedule and conduct testing of new product features and enhancements.
- Document test results and report any issues or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of integration plans that align with strategic goals and quality standards while providing feedback on product enhancements to ensure they meet user needs and expectations.
- Gather and analyze data on market trends and competitor offerings in equity compensation and prepare benchmarking reports to assess the competitiveness of the firm's compensation plans.
- Collaborate with external partners and industry groups to gather insights and best practices.
- Support the development of recommendations for plan adjustments based on research findings.
- Assist in drafting communication materials, including emails, newsletters, and presentations, related to equity compensation plans.
- Ensure all communication materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with the firm's messaging standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strategic Insight: Ability to collaborate on strategic objectives and draft proposals for equity compensation plans.
- Product Testing Coordination: Experience in scheduling and conducting product testing, with strong documentation skills.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in conducting preliminary data analysis to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Research and Benchmarking: Skills in gathering and analyzing market data, preparing benchmarking reports, and developing recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to draft clear and consistent communication materials and coordinate their distribution.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Exec Comp Plan Admin, Workforce Technology, Quality Assurance, HR Accounting, Payroll, Compliance, Risk & Controls.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy and integrity, with experience in implementing validation processes.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify trends and insights from data analysis and research findings.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and evolving project requirements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Working Knowledge: Familiarity with equity compensation products, including Restricted Stock Units, Stock Appreciation Rights, Employee Stock Purchase, and Deferred Compensation Plans.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and creating effective PowerPoint presentations.
- Continuous Learning: Desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
