Are you ready to make a significant impact on employee engagement and culture? Join our APAC Employee Relations (ER) team within HR, where you can drive best-in-class people practices and enhance the employee experience across the Asia Pacific region.

As an Employee Relations Partner, Vice President in the APAC ER team, you will handle conduct cases and provide expert advice on employee conduct and risk management.

Our team is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee needs and concerns. You will work with a diverse group of partners, including HR, Legal, and Compliance, to create a trusted and valued experience for our employees and managers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex ER cases and conduct investigations.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, leaves terminations and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory responses related to culture and conduct.
  • Monitor conduct and performance cases for trends and sensitive issues.
  • Develop reports and presentations for HR clients and business leaders.
  • Collaborate on enabling projects and risk initiatives.
  • Represent APAC in global harmonization efforts.
  • Contribute to ER/Conduct aspects of transactions and off-shoring.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in Employee Relations, HR Regulatory Affairs, or Employment Law.
  • 8 years of experience in Legal or HR.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in appropriate .
  • Knowledge of Employee Relations policies and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to absorb detailed information quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective business partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills of influence and persuasion to build consensus.
  • Strong writing skills to be able to write with high degree of precision in nuanced and complicated scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Chinese language, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in a Banking/Financial services environment.
