As an EMEA Trade Risk Manager Vice President in the Wholesale Credit Team, you will evaluate trade finance transactions and manage credit exposure. Collaborate with global teams to drive a strong risk culture and develop expertise in trade solutions. We value diverse skills and offer ongoing training to support your growth

Job responsibilities

  • Approve trade transactions within delegated authority and monitor exposure.
  • Provide risk management decisions on documentation and product policy variations.
  • Assist trade sales and credit teams with credit line requests and product suitability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to approve new structures and policy exceptions.
  • Interact with Trade sales to provide risk views on pipeline transactions.
  • Participate in Regional Risk & Country Committees.
  • Share best practices with Trade Risk counterparts in other regions.
  • Provide training on trade products and associated risks.
  • Attend industry events and contribute to business forums.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Significant experience in Credit Risk or Trade Risk with strong credit skills.
  • Ability to operate in a time-sensitive environment while multitasking.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership in driving solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Good interpersonal skills to influence decision-making and align risk strategy.
  • Self-starter with a track record of leading collaborative efforts.
  • Experience interpreting and negotiating legal documentation.
Preferred uqalifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Basic understanding of traditional trade instruments and their risks.
  • Experience in structured finance transactions.
