About Digital and Platform Services, Finance and Business Management

Digital and Platform Services (D&PS) aims to accelerate the CIB transformation by bringing discipline, transparency, speed, and innovation. A unified organization was created, combining Technology, Operations, AI, Digital, Data, and Design teams.

The D&PS Business Manager and team will work closely with the D&PS Business Head, CFO, and D&PS Strategy Lead. As the D&PS Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as an essential partner and trusted advisor to the Digital and Platform Services Business Head, Chief Financial Officer, and Strategy Lead, driving strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide strategic thought leadership and data-centric analysis to inform and guide high-level decision-making.
  • Strategic Governance: Own the governance and delivery of Digital and Platform Services strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational goals.
  • Strategic Communication: Contextualize the D&PS strategy, accomplishments, and initiatives for effective communication across the organization.
  • Problem Solving: Lead efforts to resolve diverse and complex problems identified by D&PS business leaders, ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives.
  • Industry Insights: Monitor industry trends and share insightful reports and analyses to inform strategic planning and execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with lines of business to optimize their organizational structure in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Value Optimization: Focus on business outcomes and proactively seek opportunities to improve value for money, driving strategic efficiencies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strategic Experience: Extensive experience in business and strategy, including roles in internal strategy or management consulting firms.
  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with Senior Business Executives.
  • Financial and Technical Acumen: Familiarity with financial and technical concepts, operating models, and a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Decision Facilitation: Ability to organize and prioritize critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision-making; provide oversight and guidance to the team on projects based on strategic priority and importance.
  • Data-Driven Problem Solving: Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, including working with stakeholders and diverse teams to solve complex problems.
  • Innovative Thinking: Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo and think creatively to drive strategic innovation.
