Business Management optimizes business performances by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business.
As a Digital Markets Business Manager, you will be required to support three senior business leads in driving a large portfolio of digital transformation initiatives across Markets. In this role, the business manager will need to ensure that we have the ability to create scalable performance monitoring, implement scalable systems and processes in order to get out of doing repetitive workflows, and help communication business objectives and outcomes to key stakeholders on a regular basis. The business manager will build a significant network of stakeholders and partners covering technology, P&A, business management, product managers, controls, legal, traders, and salespeople in order to facilitate a complex book of work. As a key business advisor, this person would also be expected to challenge the business leads and drive both organizational and disruptive change.

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement new business strategy, strategic initiatives or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
- Optimize 'bottom line' business performance by driving key initiatives (fees, cost base, RWA and capital utilization)
- Identify, escalate and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business: e.g. legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, extraordinary transaction costs
- Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
- Partner with the business, Operations and Technology in the definition of future workflows and implementation of related technology and infrastructure projects to prepare the business to meet the requirements of an ever evolving market structure
- Partner with the relevant external service/ infrastructure providers
- Provide business representation in respective internal/external working groups
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Previous product knowledge and/or Business Management or COO experience
- Energetic, dynamic, and highly motivated self-starter
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong presentation skills for senior and global business heads
- Ability to forge strong internal relationships across functions
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Critical knowledge and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Python, and Jupyter Notebooks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets
- Excellent project management, organizational, and attention to detail skills
