Job Description:

J.P. Morgan's Global Private Bank Design team is seeking a dynamic and experienced strategist to support the Head of Design. This role is pivotal in driving key initiatives and operational efficiency of the design team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a significant impact on client and employee experience within a leading global financial institution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Assist the Head of Design in developing and executing strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the Global Private Bank and the Chief Product Officer.
  • Operational Management: Assist on day-to-day operations, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication across the teams.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage key projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Track progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the Head of Design and internal/external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Team Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across different teams within the Global Private Bank Design team, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Design, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create clear, concise meeting content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
