As a Deposits Middle Office Product Support Associate within the Deposits Product team, you will be tasked with a variety of functions across the product space. Your role will require you to gain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Deposits products and collaborate with business partners across multiple Lines of Businesses to centralize and streamline the services provided to our Deposits clients. Your responsibilities may include responding to stakeholder inquiries, researching, and resolving problems. You should be prepared to handle a complex suite of products and be able to adapt quickly in a high-volume, constantly changing environment. Strong communication skills are crucial due to frequent interaction with front office and product desk personnel, as well as the need to keep management informed of key developments or ideas for process improvement.

Job responsibilities:
  • Partner with key stakeholder groups to develop governance framework for Deposits products including the overall process, tracking mechanism and evidencing the process
  • Act as the escalation point for sensitive client issues to investigate, resolve and develop satisfying solutions
  • Interface with Operations and Technology teams on trade booking, fail management, exception processing and ad hoc queries
  • Collaborate with business partners and Intelligence Automation teams to identify and implement process solutions for streamlining Deposits flows
  • Document procedures, process flows and perform routine reviews to ensure timely & accurate updates are implemented
  • Act as oversight for all aspects of Deposits functions - Ensure all work is processed timely and accurately, all reconciliations and reporting requirements are performed on a daily basis, key controls are met and procedures are followed
  • Develop and document test plans and coordination of end-to-end testing
  • Maintain a strong Risk and Control Mindset - manage, develop and implement controls to mitigate existing and to prevent upcoming risks
  • Coordinate and monitor deliverables associated with projects
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels, including Senior Management and Control Managers
  • Display strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Commitment to quality and control
  • Results oriented - execute tasks and initiatives effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners while maintaining strong client focus
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to think creatively and recommend/implement process improvements
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Deposits products and attributes (calculations, impact)
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in Private Banking and navigation within Private Bank Applications and Systems
