Join our dynamic Data Governance Team and transform how our customers interact with data!

As a Product Manager, within our Data Governance Product Registration Team, you will transform how our customers interact with metadata and ensure we capture an accurate inventory with high-quality metadata and change management capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Data Governance Registration area, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching business objectives.
  • Define product requirements and work closely with engineering and design teams to develop and prioritize features that meet customer needs.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure a seamless and delightful user experience.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats and develop compelling product positioning and value propositions that set our data governance solutions apart from competitors.
  • Leverage business requirements, competitive analysis, and research findings to identify use cases and high-level requirements for exceptional user experiences.
  • Advocate for the product's value proposition and benefits to foster brand loyalty and advocacy.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, data management, product ownership, or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with data catalogs, including data modeling.
  • Exceptional written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven expertise in web-based application information architecture design, design patterns, usability principles, and techniques.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to effectively communicate feature requirements to engineering teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agile environment, with a demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and strategic change.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience with open-source and commercial catalog solutions is a significant plus.
  • Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture.
  • Proficiency in conducting user research, analyzing quantitative customer data, and gathering voice of customer data.
  • Bachelor's degree in product management, data management, or equivalent professional experience.
