As a Data Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the JPMorgan Wealth Management Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Supports review of controls to ensure sufficient protection of enterprise data
- Advises and makes custom configuration changes in one to two tools to generate a product at the business or customer request
- Create and execute test plan and test cases
- Frequently uses SQL and understands NoSQL databases and their niche in the marketplace
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Experience in AWS - Knowledge of EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cloud watch, EMR, Step functions
- Strong experience in Postman, API testing.
- Experience in SQL -Complex queries, data validation.
- Experience in Excel: Pivot tables, vlookups, charts, data analysis
- Experience in Performance Testing: Tools like JMeter, LoadRunner
- Experience in Data Pipelines/ETL Processes: Data extraction, transformation, loading.
- Experienced in Log Analysis: Troubleshooting, debugging.
- Experience in Python Scripting: Basic automation scripts.
- Experience in Data Analytics: Trends, insights, visualization tools.
- Experience in Automation framework and tools: e.g. Selenium, Cucumber
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven critical thinking ability; can understand all the available information, tie it all together, and speak to it clearly and concisely.
