Job Summary:

The Data Domain Architect Assoc will be responsible for executing on the Integrated Customer Data Warehouse product roadmap; a part of the Data Consumption product team. Key deliverables include design and signoff of engineering development, data validation, tracking deliverables, partnering with engineering developers to find root cause of issues, work automation, and end-to-end process management. This position offers an opportunity to jump start a product management career while working with cutting edge technologies and developing data products optimized for the challenges which analysts face at JPMC.

Job Responsibilities:

  • User engagement; prioritization, expectation setting, delivery follow-up, user interviews
  • Engineering engagement; solution design, administering workflow, validation, problem solving
  • Oversee data management process - including design, documentation, maintenance, enhancements and validation
  • Align deliverables with CCB data strategy and infrastructure controls standards
  • Member of team responsible for the migration of CCB Analytic systems to cloud environments utilizing AWS and Snowflake; decommission of on-premise solutions
  • Focus will always be on the user. Understand their needs. Design the solution path. Work the problem to delivery.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • The candidate should have 4+ years of data management and / or programming experience
  • Thorough understanding of relational database and data management solutions
  • Hands-on experience writing SQL syntax with complex joins, summarization, nesting, etc
  • Demonstrated capabilities in analytic engineering, including data extraction, transformation and load processing
  • Strong oral presentation and communication skills - the ability to simplify complex information and clearly articulate solutions to senior business leaders
  • Strong project management skills - the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work requirements to work in multi-disciplinary team setting

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Hands on experience and certifications demonstrating knowledge of AWS and Snowflake
  • Advanced education degrees (Masters+, MBA), working experience in financial industry, large organizations, product organizations
  • Programming skills including Python
  • Application skills including Alteryx
  • Engineering management software including Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence
