Credit Support Specialist - Operations Analyst, a pivotal role within the WLS-Credit Operations group. This essential position is designed to deliver on specific tasks and requirements, providing critical support to the broader Credit Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will gain valuable exposure to various aspects of managing a banking office, contributing to the seamless operation and success of our credit operations.

As a Credit Support Specialist - Operations Analyst within Loans group, you will be responsible for executing all assigned tasks while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will engage in various processes supporting the Credit Risk Organization, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in managing the Bank's risk exposure and significantly impact our operations

.Job Responsibilities (To be limited to 11 points only)

  • Adhere to established QUALITY & QUANTITY SLAs.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls.
  • Frequently follow up with Underwriters/Business Partners for missing documents or information.
  • Liaise with other bank departments and external contacts, such as Borrowers and Trustees.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using the bank's operating systems.
  • Serve as the SME and first internal POC for all process-related queries and clarifications.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for process-related issues from internal/external customers.
  • Manage exceptions and one-off transactions, following escalation metrics as needed.
  • Ensure attention to detail for accurate document processing.
  • Identify changes to processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of a robust Knowledge Management model, including SOP maintenance and training.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Obtain a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or possess equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Banking, Financial Institutions, Loan Operations, or Underwriting.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand business financial statements, cash flow, and loans across industries.
  • Exhibit strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills for analyzing large data sets.
  • Build outstanding client management and leadership skills, handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.
  • Utilize strong MS Office and analytical skills
