Corporate & Investment Banking Operations - Transactions Manager - Associate

Wholesale Payments Operations is responsible for ensuring timely settlement on behalf of the clients (both internal and external) of the firm. The team provides professional supports to the day to day Operations for multi-currency payment clearance for our Global clients, as well as regulatory reporting, fund administration, FX and related services in support to payment activities.

As a Transactions Manager Associate in Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting China regulatory reporting .

Job responsibilities

  • Process daily, monthly, quarterly reporting to our regulator, ensure the data input accuracy and can finish in time.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues, and having the determination to follow through
  • Able to escalate issues as appropriate
  • Create and maintain project plans, drive accountability, and ensure target deliverable dates are achievable by the global operations team
  • Drive progress on tasks and action items through regular status meetings with business partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in process re-engineering, project management, problem solving, effective communication, and subject matter knowledge
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills
  • Good knowledge with China SAFE and PBOC regulations and policies regarding CNY transactions and reporting. Basic knowledge of EAST, RCPMIS, AML reporting.
  • Ability to be an integral team member (planning support, documenting, and communicating)
  • Ability to prioritize, drive results, and influence team members in a cross functional, diverse environment
  • Strong organizational skills; good people management skills, Work collaboratively with team members and cross functional groups
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver against tight deadlines
  • Strong PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Payment product management experience is preferred
  • Experience and strong working knowledge of various aspects of cash operations is preferred
