Global Equities is part of the Investment Banking (IB) division and offers solutions, which include trade execution, program, and special equity trading services.
As an Associate on the Delta One desk, you will be part of the Equity Derivatives Group (EDG) and focus on linear products in China A-share market. In this role, you will engage in market making and provide competitive risk pricing. You will be responsible for managing inventory and optimizing trade execution across the China A-share market. Our universe encompasses a wide range of indices and products, providing diverse opportunities for strategic trading and risk management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative trading strategies by conducting in-depth statistical analysis and modeling, specifically tailored to the dynamics of the China A-share market.
- Lead the development and integration of technology and quantitative tools to support trading activities and improve efficiency
- Enhance our algorithm trading capabilities for Delta One products.
- Develop and maintain advanced analytical tools to support research and trading operations.
- Identify and capitalize on trading opportunities, employing momentum and systematic trading strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, structuring, and risk management, to drive strategic initiatives and optimize trading performance.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
- Proven expertise in trading China A share market across different types of products
- Experience working with inter-dealer brokers (IDB) and a comprehensive understanding of the trading environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods and equity market dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing systematic trading strategies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C#, with the ability to develop and refine trading algorithms and platforms.
