Corporate & Investment Bank - Equities Trading - Delta One - Associate

Global Equities is part of the Investment Banking (IB) and offers solutions, which include trade execution, program and special equity trading services.

As an Associate in the Delta One desk, you will be part of Equity Derivatives Group (EDG) and focuses on non-volatility products where you transact on behalf of our customers and JPM account Swaps, ETFs, and futures. Our universe covers indices in APAC but also globally where we offer short to long maturities on OTC trades.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new trading strategies by undertaking statistical analysis and modelling of signals
  • Expand our electronic market making offering in delta one products.
  • Drive the Tech and Quant agenda that is necessary for this activity.
  • Build and maintain tools to improve our research and trading capabilities.
  • Identify trading opportunities and implement strategies.
  • Ability to communicate / collaborate with various teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or Economics
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in Delta 1 Trading
  • Experience in dealing with IDB (Inter-dealer brokers)
  • Experience with pricing / market making / research of dividends
  • Deep understanding of statistics and equity markets
  • Strong equity market-making background
  • Proven track record in systematic trading
  • The ability to refine and enhance our execution platform
  • Good computing skills (R, Python, Java or C#)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Previous experience covering Hong Kong, Korea and / or Japan
