The Single Stock Trading team trades various derivatives products across Asia and manages its portfolio using a range of listed and OTC instruments.
As an Associate in the Single Stock Trading team, you will trade and market make various equity derivatives for single stocks in all of Asia, which include a range of products from listed equity options to customized OTC derivatives and structured notes, and does have one of the largest businesses across competitors.
Job responsibilities
- Trading on the desk involve managing a portfolio of various types of derivatives.
- Understanding of the dynamics of the portfolio and the market, and hedge according to available instruments, including stocks, options, and various other asset classes which require a considerable amount of discretionary decisions.
- Servicing the different types of client bases, including hedge funds, retail, private bank, asset managers, family offices, etc. where the client base also spans across different regions and countries.
- Ability to speak to sales partners across the world

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills
- Technical programming skills required, especially around using Excel and other programming languages for performing quantitative analysis of different type of trading strategies and automation of various tasks.
- Willingness to be on top of various operations in a detailed manner is a requirement.
- Ability to produce innovative solutions to reduce operational headwinds is also required.
- A team player who works well with others; on top of thinking and acting quickly and appropriately.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience and knowledge in derivatives or related fields is preferred
