Corporate Insurance (CI) is part of the Chief Administrative Office and is responsible for negotiating, structuring and administering worldwide insurance programs for JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) businesses and operations. This includes managing a captive insurance company, claims, loss control and contract reviews.
As a Corporate Insurance Analyst within the Corporate Insurance team, you will be instrumental in managing a variety of insurance programs. Your role will encompass risk assessment and mitigation, effective execution of insurance strategies, and contributing to the success of our insurance initiatives. Your versatility and eagerness to learn about insurance will be highly valued. Occasionally, you will also assist other areas of Corporate Insurance, including reviewing insurance clauses in contracts and providing proof of insurance to various business lines across the company as required.

Job responsibilities:
- Assist with the renewal of corporate and LOB specific insurance programs including preparing various insurance renewal submissions, obtaining underwriting data throughout the organization, completing applications, attending meetings with insurance brokers and underwriters.
- Review insurance requirements proposed in various leases, client agreements and vendor contracts as well as assist internal sourcing team with insurance provisions and requirements related to RFPs, etc.
- Work closely with various business units and serve as a corporate insurance representative relative to LOB issues and questions.
- Upload new policies to the firm's RMIS database
- Provide consultation to the various lines of business regarding coverage questions including appropriate amount and extent of insurance coverage required.
- Prepare renewal presentations and schedules of insurance for review by management.
- Manage exposure reporting as required under various insurance programs.
- Support the claims management process for non-casualty claims, including coordination with the lines of business, TPAs and collection of loss data
- Handle certificate of insurance submissions on behalf of JPMC.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelors degree with a concentration in business, risk management or insurance.
- General knowledge and experience related to property, casualty and/or management/professional liability insurance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter / highly organized / detail oriented / ability to multi-task
- Ability to analyze financial information.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Risk Management Information System knowledge preferred
