As a Core Analytics Operations - Associate within our dynamic team, you will promote automation of new and existing processes using data transformation tools like Alteryx, SQL etc. You will have the opportunity to build, maintain and enhance data transformation workflows, create and enhance analytics dashboards, and support the ongoing development of our Data Analytics framework. We value your ability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute strategic change through successful internal partnerships. Your structured thinking, effective communication skills, and understanding of different technological development methodologies will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive automation of new and existing processes using data transformation tools like Alteryx, SQL etc
  • Build, maintain and enhance Alteryx data transformation workflows. Deploy them to Alteryx Server
  • Create and enhance analytics dashboards in Tableau/Qlik along with managing and deploying dashboards to the firm-wide server
  • Support ongoing development of Data Analytics framework by partnering with business to identify requirements, bring in new datasets, support new users and train new team members in using the toolset
  • Effectively drive teams toward robust set of delivery milestones. Understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in product development lifecycle
  • Demonstrate governance by ensuring that: (a) work streams and initiatives are tracked and actively managed, (b) KPI's are agreed, measured and tracked, (c) deliverables are properly prioritized and sequenced, (d) risks are addressed and status measured and (e) deliveries are successful
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners across including senior leaders in the Business, Technology, Design, Operations, and control functions across lines of business

Required qualification, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology with relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management leading strategic or transformational change, preferably with experience in wealth management, asset management, digital banking, or a closely related business.
  • Experience in data transformation tools, such as Alteryx and data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense and enhanced data mining skills using SQL, SAS, Python or other equivalent tools
  • Extensive experience in project delivery across multiple streams with varying timelines, priorities and complexities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals
  • Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations - with the ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence
  • Strong understanding of different technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and design techniques with ability to successfully lead regardless of approach
