As a Control Manager Associate, you'll be responsible for leading and building out an enhanced control framework which supports a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment. Additionally, you will ensure the team assists in top down risk analysis, real time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis and remediation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support proactive Employee Compliance risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
- Participate in the assessment of policy changes and legal obligation impacts to the CCB business in partnership with stakeholders
- Compile documents for CCB/AWM Lessons Learned and Human Resource Controls Forum
- Organize resources for end-to-end execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment, including control breaks and resolutions, to reduce financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk
- Engage with control colleagues across CCB business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions
- Other duties as assigned

Required, qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance
- Knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment in conjunction with business partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred, qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Project management experience preferred
- Procedure writing
- Networking - Exceptional relationship building skills, including collaboration and the ability to influence stakeholders in a meaningful and actionable manner
- Communication / Presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving / analytical skills - solid critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills necessary
