Join our newly established Testing CoE (Center of Excellence) and help in bringing together skilled monitoring, testing, and evaluation experts from across the globe into one team focused on shared best practices, the development of innovative processes and tools, and commitment to the continued advancement of the Firm's Risk and Control framework. The Testing CoE is an essential part of our company's commitment to maintaining a strong, consistent control environment through continuous, rigorous evaluation of control adequacy and effectiveness across the Firm.

As a Control Management TCoE & Firmwide Initiatives Associate within our Testing CoE, you will be an integral part of a global team focused on the development of innovative processes and tools. You will have the opportunity to provide central program support, partnering with senior leaders to promote strategic initiatives and deliver value-added analysis. Your role will involve assisting in critical issues detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation, contributing to the continued advancement of the Firm's Risk and Control framework. The role will report into the Firmwide Strategic Program team with accountability into the Testing CoE.

Job Responsibilities:

Includes but not limited to the following:

  • Provide support to Executive and Managing Directors for the Testing CoE.
  • Prepare senior management for internal and external meetings
    • Prepare executive Level Presentations on strategy, program and initiative updates, etc.
    • Help to drive daily, weekly, and monthly management meetings
  • Provide executive management reporting and communication focusing on the overall program performance against objectives. Proactively highlight issues and risks to the objectives, derive solutions and drive remedies to completion.
    • Track and communicate status and achievements
    • Ensure timetable and initiatives are understood, communicated, and tracked
    • Continuously identify areas of improvement across the organization.
  • End to end ownership and management of priority business projects related to Testing TCoE such as process design, product/tool design, business requirements, and process improvement initiatives (e.g. current state, opportunity identification, recommendation).
  • Partner with other Testing TCoE-aligned functional areas including Firmwide Control Management, Compliance, HR, and Technology with respect to change management initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 4 Years of experience in the financial services industry and/or consulting
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills: delivering messages clearly and succinctly with tailored approach depending on target audience
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including executive management
  • Strong project management skills, with emphasis on controls and focus on process improvement
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Team player with proven flexibility, adaptability and reliability
  • Exceptional critical thinking, project management, analytical and communication skills (i.e. Strong written and verbal communicator at all levels of the organization)
  • Excellent business judgment to enable effective and objective decision making
  • Possess sense of urgency, intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information and propose recommendations
  • Individual must be results driven, have attention to detail, has passion for driving best practices, and skilled at diplomatically breaking down barriers and obstacles
